I've played from another server and they have this. It'll be a little helpful imo. So this's how it works. We purchase a Vote Item via Vote Coupons. For example, I own a Fallen Ghost for 50 Vote Coupons. Once I got an Emp/RoP, Fallen Ghost would be a bit worthless at that time (except for those who switch Headgear that includes Fallen Ghost) since Emp/RoP has an edge compare to FG, here comes the purpose of Vote Exchanger. We'll get to change Fallen Ghost to another Vote Item. Like if we want Piamette or such other Vote Items.

But it won't give you back full 50 Vote Coupons, instead, it will deduct a percentage of its worth. (10% might do. For a Fallen Ghost, NPC will give you back 45 Vote Coupons. Or 20% maybe. Depends.) Since Vote Coupons/Items are not tradable, this would maximize the use of Vote Items.

I know this might get rejected. But it's worth a try.

I really like this idea. I'm sure this happens to a lot of people. You go and buy FBH, not knowing when you might get an Emp/RoP. After a while you finally do get the Emp/RoP and the FBH is now useless. It just gathers dust in your storage, or you use it sometimes when changing headgears. I don't know of too many that do it, but this would have no effect on them anyway. I really like this idea. Let's get some more feedback. Pros and cons. This could be a really nice addition.

Considering previous threads on this, if we'd ever have something where we can cash in vote rewards, I'd compromise for giving back below 50% of the cost.

That way vote rewards won't totally be wasted, gathering dust in your storage, but still urges you to vote for the extra vote coupons you would require.

Appeals to me. I think this will go to voters' liking. I myself have two vote items in storage which I don't use anymore as I have better items to replace it. It was a waste of time voting to find that those vote items are for temporary use only.

Well a half worth refund of vote coupon might still be cosidered a good amount, rather than having lots of vote items in your storage and not using it at all. I, myself, bought an ice wing just out of fun. It costs 45 and now I can't use it anymore. Having a small amount of refund for it would still mean I still have to vote for the item that I wanted, so not to spoil the idea of voting for our beloved server and at the same time, enjoying our valuable vote items.

The vote rewards are a little extra we want to offer the players for voting.

Showing our appreciation for them supporting the server and allowing us to grow (higher rated servers on the vote ranking list attract more players).

We all want the community and server to grow as much as possible, everyone will benefit from it, more competition, more items being sold, bigger WoE, bigger GvG, more participants in Hide and Seek and a lot other benefits that makes it more fun to play this server.

If we refund voting rewards, players will just vote a few times, being selfish as they are, they'd be happy as soon they have their item and will have to vote maybe a few times again to gain their new item.

This service has to work both ways and with refunding it won't.

Oh if the refunding idea would mean people will vote less than usual to obtain items, why not try to add something useful to vote for, like Ygg Berry Tickets, EDP Tickets, other consumable items etc. which will be made tradeable.

A x amount of Vote Coupons = x amount of [insert Item Name Here]

Like for example, 50-60 Vote Coupons will let you buy 100 Ygg Berry Tickets or 20 EDP Tickets. This idea will not spoil the idea of hunting those items since you'll have to vote for about 25-30 days for a few items. It will not be a source of another income or a cause of massive increase of supplies existing in our server since this items are mostly in demand, instead it will become another option for voting.

Seeing those who already have Fallen Ghost/Flower Aura + Bell Ribbon + Any Headgear that they are already contented with would likely vote lesser or none at all. But with this option, it would encourage them to vote again and again since 100 Ygg is not that much, but will be a bit of help for people who loves PvP/PK'ing/MVP'ing.

I could only think of consumable items that will become an only tradeable vote item because uhh, they will be consumed after all. I'm not suggesting that Vote Coupon or other Vote Item should be tradeable, only these consumable ones.

Again, this is just my suggestion/idea. I've already met this kind of condition from another server, and I see people try not to miss even a single vote. So feel free to comment/suggest.

Love the consumable idea :P, particulary I would always vote just to get tickets since I dont have time to hunt them.

Sugestion :

1 Vote reward = 3 yggdrasil tickets

2 Vote reward = 1 Poison bottle ticket

3 Vote reward = 10 BOS Tickets

6 voting reward = 1Glist Coat Ticket

How's the condition of the in-game economy? If it's still as volatile as I left it two months ago, we should then seriously consider Vote Reward coupons becoming redeemable at the Ticket Exchanger NPC. However, I cannot agree that 1 Vote Reward = 3 Berry tickets. We will have to come up with a reasonable exchange rate that 1) will encourage players to vote because it is worth their time; and 2) will make Donation coupons more precious so we don't just toss them around, causing wild market fluctuations. I'm thinking of 2 Vote coupons to 1 ticket, and you can only use this service if, and only if, your Vote coupons on-hand exceed a certain threshold.

Now there's an idea! The more Vote coupons you collect, the more cost-efficient rate you qualify for. So when you spend your Vote coupons and go below the threshold, you will have to pay more to get the same number of tickets. For example, let's use monthly thresholds (60 coupons per month, twice a day for 30 days). If I have less than 60 Vote coupons available, the rate is 4 coupons to 1 ticket. Between 60 and 120, 3 coupons to 1 ticket. Between 120 and 180, 2 is to 1. And for 180 and above, 1:1.

I'm trying to find the Vote Rewards page to see what's the most expensive so we can weigh the privilege of 1:1 against that vote equipment.

I like the consumable item idea, but an extra suggestion could be that we just add more voting rewards. Make some rewards like almost impossible to get and fashionable so people will have to keep working for a goal and won't just stop voting after getting Emps and shit.

I'm in agreement with Sensation; by voting you're helping the server grow, and as a little thank you, you get cool items in return. So, no to the refunding of vote items.

However, that consumables idea is like super platinum gold awesomeness. I'll accept that.
