Kittie Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Specifically magic strings, and apple of idun (song of lutie) should be changed that it affects only people in your party. It's annoying in WOE or GVG or even PVP when you have a support bard and everyone is getting the buffs from him.
Devotion Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Do you want all support songs to only affect party members, or only the two you listed? If anyone else has an opinion for this, please post.
Kittie Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 I'd say all support songs even though it's not widely used, but that's how the gypsy songs work - you have to be in the party to get the buff (or not be affected by it, in the case of Slow Grace).
Yuki Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 I guess I would have to agree with this as well; it's funny seeing a clown and an assassin cross fight and the clown accidentally buffs the assassin cross. Magic Strings Prerequisite: Unchained Serenade Lv.3. This skill is mastered at Lv.10. Cast a 9*9 cell area around the caster that reduces Cast Time and Skill Delay for characters within range. This Cast Time and Skill Delay reduction are affected by the caster`s INT and Music Lessons skill level. Magic Strings is similar to the Priest`s Suffragium skill, but is separate from it. This skill has a 180 second duration, and drains 1 SP every 5 seconds while active. Gypsy`s Kiss Prerequisite: Hip Shaker Lv.3. This skill is mastered at Lv.10. Cast a 7*7 cell area around the caster that increases Max SP and reduces SP consumption for characters within its range. This skill`s SP Consumption reduction is affected by the caster`s INT and Dance Lessons skill level. Gypsy`s Kiss has a 180 second duration and consumes 1 SP every 5 seconds while active. This is the skill description from iRO website for bards and dancers. It mentions nothing about you having to be in the party to get the skill effect. But seeing as this is a custom server, it can work.
