Take out MVP cards? Then sinx is the only class that can cloak(stalkers don't cloak), and is given an even GREATER advantage. And a lot of good debuffing on entry would do. They bring their buffer with them, get the buffs they want and either kill their buffer, or let it die. Won't make a difference.

Don't be so arrogant as to believe people are against the idea just because it's you. No one cares enough to go against the idea, solely because YOU are proposing it. A number of people have proposed this in the past and all with the same conclusion. Largely based, on the fact that a non-consumable PvP room was available in the past. Said PvP room was a HUGE failure, and thus removed. Come up with SOLID reasons why this room should be made available. Not reasons why you WANT it made. But why it SHOULD be made.

ey, ey, ey...Calm down. You may not know it, but I have pissed a lot of people off in the past. You know I have solid reasons, but you just don't want to back down from your original decision due to embarrassment.

Solid Reason #1: To allow people to have a variety in PvP. They should have a choice.

Solid Reason #2: Noobs can finally forget 1 factor that differentiates them from pro's and may finally have a chance at fun.

Solid Reason #3: If noobs can enjoy a good time, server will grow.

Solid Reason #4: ForsakenRO is slowly dying. All these guild's are dying because many people are going inactive. If you can make something new, they may come back to try. But maybe you want ForsakenRO to die...it IS Forsaken.

Solid Reason #5: Doesn't hurt anybody to put in something new. Only people it'll hurt are the people who got to code all this stuff, and IF they are against this because of that reason...fucking lazy.

Valkyrie is a common card. The % it casts dispell is pretty high too.

Ok. I don't make my decisions, based on my personal feelings. I can't. I have to make accept/reject decisions based on the majority of people in the thread. Some are closed sooner than others because its a more clear cut decision. In honestly, it would affect me none, to have a non-consumable PvP room. I have nothing personally against the room, yourself or anyone else here. I just made the previous decision based on past cases that were very clear cut.

It's unfair making the decision on the majority of this thread. Like Devotion said 90% of the people don't visit the forum. Don't see what the people in the forum want, see what people in the GAME wants. And the people who DO visit the forums and most likely the people who can afford all this shit and the decision won't matter to them at all.

You should make a notification like the voting thing and let people know what's going on.

That would be up to the higher GMs. I agree with you, that its kind of lame to only go with what we see on this forum. But, that's what I've been told/learned when I was given the suggestions forum duties. That I can only go by what is seen here on forums. If you would like, you could talk to people in game that share your outlook, and get them to come on forums and vote in favor of the idea.

That seems like a better idea. I have already talked to some people and they're ok with it. Others think they're too cool. It wouldn't hurt if some GM's were there to support me. :D

i can easily agree with your idea...if we can follow the no MvP cards and Customs as well :3

Debating the idea as things are, is kinda hard...like;

a PvP room with 1 person in there and an occasional visitor who comes in, get killed and will never return because his consumables didn't save him(because he couldn't use them) against the 200k Sonic Blow that was just performed.

This...this makes sense. If you want to have serious debate and solid arguments, that 200k sonic blow can't happen, because it is but a piece of the whole atrocities that can be done thanks to rare cards and unique equipments available to just about anyone.

So...

The GTB card will still be around, also a legitimate card and official, if we keep excluding items it won't even be "like the official" RO anymore either.

To this i'd like to say...MvP cards were never meant to be standard equipment, in official servers, cards such as these can be counted in the fingers while the server's population can reach as far as ten times bigger than ours, so excluding this card(and all MvP cards for that matter) makes it closer to a true RO pvp experience.

To make it so that there are no one hit kills we could allow items you'd see on lowrates, like white pots.

I also just ran this by Apo, and we'd need to get the item ID's for everything we want to block from the PVP room. Meaning this is a large undertaking if we decide to go forward with it.

I just held a quick in game poll, and most of the votes were for this suggestion. Most of the 'No's' I got were from rich or powerful players, which simply goes to show just how many weaker players don't come to the forums to vote on these suggestions. No idea when this will be done, but we'll at least give it a try.
