teH cubiCLe heRMit Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 So admins and gm's have been consulting of the destruction (deactivation) of the Irish Hats effects. I dont understand why but I assume people have been complaining and saying it might be too powerful :crying_anim02: . Well these people probably have never donated in their life and think anything is too powerful :thumbsdown_anim: . Irish hat has many pros and cons :thumbsdown_still: ; +40 to all stats is the pro, but single slot would be the only con. During pvp, WoE, etc., any Stormy knight, Garm card user would own a Irish hat user in my opinion, and the single slot limits the cards one can use. I understand this may be the ultimate non-donation hat so I've come up with a suggestion; TURN IT INTO A DONATION ITEM, because I assume people in ND-LTS are the ones complaining. :questionmark: :shiftyeyes_anim: :questionmark: I've specifically come up with this short argument so that the community can have their input. THIS IS A DEMOCRACY!! :laughingsmiley:

Cirrus Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Having a slot in a +40 stat item isn't even a con, man. Mmh, if the effect will be kept, keep the item off ND PvP, then. Pls & ty.
kuoch Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 They complain cause they can't afford it. n_______________n
Terroryst Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Best thing we got gives half of those stats. :O
Forsaken Elite Forumer Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Umm. Yes. Maybe reducing those +40 all stats to 20 or 25 would make it a bit more balanced? And that one slot? That isn't its con. Unless you're fond of using 4 kiels.
Rahvin Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Might I ask, since when was this server run as a democracy?
nines Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 I find it to be over powered and im a user of it...any fuckin retard can find away around sk...its called a marc card...or sc use a gemini or a fsoldier....the cards are there for a reason i use them. there is no con to this hat if anything at all it should be a vote item. before the poporing party hat was 30 all stats and got the stats taken off for some fuckin retarded reason and made people who voted for it neeed to vote another whole month for it....just make it like 100 votes or some crap so people can stop qqing. If anything its fucked the econmy up even more imo
Secret Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Bah 266k HP + Usakoring F.Shield + Ghost, High Risk F.Armor + Double Immune F.Cloak DIE IN ASURA so do you call that BALANCE ? HUH ?
Apo Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 uhh... if you go with server experience, this is like the Party Hat of before which had one slot and +30 all stats and expired, same goes with irish, and one day somethign else will replace it, that's all..
nines Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Secret if u die to that theres something wrong cause my full asura will do 230 - 250k with that if ur dieing they either have a thana or have impo and provoke so its balanced...there just buffed
Millenia Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 +40,+25,+10 75 UNF 75 TO ALL STATS B> IRISH HAT
Adamxd Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 (edited) Well about freeznig : Deviling hat reduce damage from demi human by 15%, but if you are frozen these 15% are eliminated and it has only+10 stats and slot. The effect is a paradox then: reduce damage is but it's not. About irish hat, it's ok! Edited September 10, 2009 by Adamxd
Apo Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Sorry Madox but you are wrong on this one, only gr is null when frozen as you are no longer ghosttype but more likely water, I know it because a bunch of champs tried to kill my stalker while I was frozen and wasn't a success with my dev hat sgw 2 dev cards and usako shield
Adamxd Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Well not everone got sgw and: with devi hat u can be frozen so dmg is increasing.
Secret Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Why Moderators / GM didnt reply on this thread ? Just Tell us the Answer ! Are they gonna Nerf it or NOT ?
sessions Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 If it is nerfed there should be some compensation to those people who donated for it... And may God spite whoever let the secret out about it O.o
Millenia Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 If it is nerfed there should be some compensation to those people who donated for it... And may God spite whoever let the secret out about it O.o sure, let's compensate those who paid $5 for a +40 stat ~that wouldnt be in donors favor at all~
sessions Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 sure, let's compensate those who paid $5 for a +40 stat ~that wouldnt be in donors favor at all~ If they pay $5 for something and that something is changed to something they did not originally donate for; they should be compensated in some fashion. Just give them the 50 dqpons they would have gotten for their $5 donation... Nothing big. This is assuming the nerf makes the Irish hat null and void (besides a fabulous fashion item).
Apo Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 You donate, you don't purchase items, so they can do whatever they want with the items, that's why they use the term of donation. Else they could be sued if their server wipe or whatsoerver and items are gone. So if you donate it's to support the server and to compensate they offer you a selection of gifts. So this aitem could be removed toorow and you'd have nothing to say about it.
Rahvin Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 And on top of that, there's a reason why it's classified as an unreleased headgear. The items in this category have not yet been officially reviewed and are therefore likely to be adjusted.

nines Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I blame this all on Saycheese / Aceplayer everything was good while me phenomenon jun had it then he left the guild and blabed so go fuck your self -.-
Nucleus Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I don't really care, it doesn't make that much of a difference. If people donated 5$ for the hat, they should be compensated.
