iHunt Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 You do this, but you can't find time to make me a signature? REAL GREAT, AMI.
iHunt Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 You can cough very well. x___x Say "No No" to reviving old topics, *COUGH*PAM*COUGH* I'm good at coughing too. <3
Clay Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Magic wand sometimes cuts off pixels that you want to keep, it's better to erase imo :/ Or maybe it's just I'm too anal at times o_o
Pam Pam Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Although I did revive a dead topic, I think it's a good idea to make and update comments about other alternatives to the process when appropriate. Not to mention, there aren't too many other topics in this category anyway, so I haven't really pushed any newer topics out of viewing range. When you use the magic wand you should set tolerance to 0. This will ensure that your pixels aren't cut off around a sprite. However, for best results, be sure to erase along the border, seeing as how the Magic Wand tool does happen to decrease the quality in the edges of pixels/sprites. Otherwise, for most part, Magic Wand tool does the trick.
Phantom Assasin Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 use magic eraser tool to erase backgrounds without ruining other, with these settings:
Ethereal Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 use magic eraser tool to erase backgrounds without ruining other, with these settings: That works very easily but, if the background may have almost the same color as the sprite, it might delete some of the colors on the sprite. So I would suggest using tolerance : 0 if it's just a 1 colored background.
