eXile Posted August 9, 2009 Author Report Posted August 9, 2009 the best way is to enable the command well some of u guys r against this command bcz ull know no one will pik on u wat abt ppl who jus started.. they get piked on by most of u guys ive seen pro players getting full buffs[actually noobs who think they r pros bcz wat they r doing] piking on ppl who r lvling they kill everyone arnd and warp away before tht he/she gets bak up then they go thor and start piking der and they enjoy it and if u ask them for a duel theyll be callin u a nab and get a life and shit ...lol so thts y i even had this post i am always at the hot spots i c wats going on and many of ull know ... SECONDLY... lhz_dun03 160 250 has the least mob spawn rate soo ppl sit arnd here jus to get power lvls and thor_v03 3 3 is the 2nd fav place for power lvls and for fild is a pk ground not talking of tht ...and thr r guild wars and noob wars going on arnd in lhz_dun03 in this place and ppl who r trying to lvl get killed...gm pvp is 1 thing but having guild wars in place where ppl are lvling and power hunting according to most ...lol [its not a rant jus an explanation for everyone crying for not making commands and no delays and stuffs] THIRDLY... Is it possible to make certain spots no pk like the certain hot spot of lhz thor where ppl get power lvls and stuffs ahmm like pvp is disabled in this area and all...o0 jus an suggestion

You can expect to be killed on an PK server, if you don't like PK then don't join an PK server. As for the warping my point still stands : No this will be highly annoying for hunting and leveling.

I've leveled about 5 characters in thor and lhz, I've never been PKed. Maybe I'm just lucky? My point was that there are certain places in lhz with low spawn rates that people go to pvp, and disabling pvp there would ruin that. I know what your response is, "we have pvp rooms, blah blah blah" Well of course we do... but maybe, just maybe... people on a PK server would rather fight out in the fields than in a designated room.. I know, who would have thought huh? And IF the pvp was turned off in those areas, they'll just find a new place to pvp/pk and people will complain again and again. The fact is: It's a PK server, your going to die: DEAL WITH IT. I mean, if your leveling then your probably just @warping around anyway, so no one can really repeatedly KOS you unless you keep warping to them, which is highly unlikely. I'm not for turning pvp off on main lvling maps UNLESS the server as a whole becomes none-PK, because otherwise you're just defeating the purpose.
Sensation Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 This server is known as a PK server, the changes you all seem to want will lean towards a PvE server where only real PvP action would come forward in the PvP rooms. Though the PvP rooms aren't really crowded and won't seem to be, will this turning PK off result in more people in the PvP room? I doubt it. Yes it is annoying to get killed while you're hunting, but who says you can't fly wing, warp or teleport away? Do you have to go to that area where all other players are camping? No you don't, but it's the inescapable urge of people to go towards a group, to socialize or to be with others even if that means they'd be killed. Use those fly wings and move along.
Cirrus Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 One, if you get killed and the killer warps, and you're someone who's getting leeched or leveling, this makes no sense because you can't even fight back. Two, if you're PK-ing in leveling spots and you got a cheap shot, you're probably no different than them, who also PK in a leveling spot. Unless you're "protecting" people being leeched, then you should be ready for getting PK'd. And if you ARE ready for being hit and the Champ/whatever warps away, congratulations. You're the better player, seeming as he won't even fight you head to head, being, as the topic poster has said, "noob." So for this suggestion, no, please. My stand is this server is a PK server. I'm even complaining to myself why for_filds02-6 aren't PK. :> But that's just me.
