Marpy Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Many dungeons in the game, such as Payon, Morroc Pyramid, Amatsu, and the like which have layouts like most games. Go through a long dungeon, get to a boss, and get rewards. But with @warp, and terrible loot on the monsters in the lower levels, it's easier to just warp to the boss, and leave. So what I propose is a method to make dungeon delving a more doable aspect of this game. In addition to the normal dungeons, certain ones may have 'heroic' settings. Once a party teleports to a heroic dungeon (via NPC), all commands are disabled, and items like fly wing/butterfly wing are disabled. The only way to get to the boss is to fight your way there. Along the way the players fight much tougher versions of the monsters normally found there (and I mean tough. Like 100k+ hp kinda tough), that drop things that may actually be useful. High rate to drop items that could be useful during that dungeon, such as recovery items like ygg seeds or leaves, and lower rate to drop items that can provide a buff for the boss, or PvP later (like the +10 stat food, or scrolls of level 5 blessing, etc). These tougher monsters could even drop unique cards, or accessories. And at the very end there's a super-tough version of the MvP that drops new gear, plus Elite versions of it's card that have similar effects as the original, with an extra small effect, or a slightly increased effect (ex: Elite Moonlight Flower could have the same bonus to movement speed, but an extra +25 to agi, or Elite Maya could have 75% reflect chance).

Dragon Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Making a whole new dungeon would take a LOT of effort. All dungeons would have to have a seperate duplicate made with tons of modifications. This could be done I'm sure but would take a lot of effort and a dedicated person to pull off. Making some things in the game harder however does seem like a good idea. I think the idea of having a super elite MVP is still the better option instead of trying to redo entire dungeons for a harder mode.

orthikuss Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 /ok pvp dungeon (room), as pvp room + high level monster & MVP. no cards drop, 20% drops stats food, 20% yggseed ticket, 10% yggberry ticket, 5% speed ticket or something like that (pvp & woe useful items). for elite card, i think it's too complicated (not now). perhaps on donation rewards replacing original MVP card, but still complicated.
