Thank you so much, Devotion. (: As previously said, I want to do the Event Page, but Genesis said we could easily just do a forum topic for it. Community will consist of : IRC / Ventrilo / Forums / Whatever.

Devotion Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Well, one button could be a link to a page of our events, with short descriptions and a few thumbnails. Then the page has a link to the main forum thread that explains them all in detail. One that I feel might be more important than that, is a customs link button that leads to a page discussing our customs. I know we have that donation rewards page, but that doesn't tell players about custom quests and recolors and unique Fro stuff.

But I think that will probably be too image-heavy. Also for the events page, I was planning in my mind like a paragraph of an introduction of the events. Then we can have like a drop-down for each event. Example : http://forsaken-ro.net/donation_rewards/ Notice how it says like GEAR ____________________________ [bUTTON] - what if we had something like that. That's where me and Genesis based off our ideas from, and from other sites as well. I'm not completely done with it yet, so I'll try to make it different from iRO's more. Also, the slide-show will be up tomorrow (or today, depending), and the announcements will definitely look different from iRO's. iRO's announcements section is way too cramped, imo. -- And, thanks for the comment. Anyways, I was throwing an idea to Genesis about the screenshots. I told him, what if we had like a monthly screenshot contest for players? Like every month, players would submit their best screenshots (with a limit of sending, of course), and GMs or players would decide the best screenshots. After, their screenshots would be featured on the website and maybe given a prize?

Ethereal Posted July 23, 2009 Author Report Posted July 23, 2009 Yeah, they can be taken about by Alt+End. & About the health bars, we can probably accept them anyways, but we can also accept some without the HP bars. Note : this is only an idea. So it hasn't been accepted for sure.

Just a few world be good enough. And as for Youtube videos, I don't think we should put them on. I've been to RO servers where they've had youtube videos on their website, and they lagged me to death. Screenshots would be good enough, imo. --------------------------- @ Pat, H111111 P4t!!!!!!! And hm, flash would be alright but we don't want to abuse images/animations.
