orthikuss Posted July 13, 2009 Author Report Posted July 13, 2009 Str belts add only about 200 atk each. Agi belts only add 40 flee each. 200 atk each - if u have little str. most of ppl use str belt have high str. str belt on high str char can add 350-450 atk each. i'm afraid, if str core just add atk less than 300 not much people use it - crab stuff. nd-belts created for newbie and nd-pvp. it mean most newbie and nd-pvper use it. perhaps nd-belts is the best acc for newbie or nd-pvp. so i suggestion fro core become donation stuff (not quest anymore).
orthikuss Posted July 13, 2009 Author Report Posted July 13, 2009 update: fro core (donation) fro str core: atk +300-350 (still need more suggestion) fro agi core: flee +60 fro vit core: max hp +6 - 10% (c'mon sacrifice pally) fro int core: max sp +30% or matk +10 - 15% fro dex core: (c'mon melee char) hit +60 - 65 fro luk core: PD +7
Sorrow Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 It looks like a good idea...but as things have been stated, some might get too overpowered...what about giving limits of attributes to hinder its strength? Like this they would be useful to the ones who need certain stats but are limited in points or build, yet not overpowering the ones who have plenty of those. Exemple; *STR Core; -ATK +400 if STR<100. -ATK +200 if STR<200. -ATK +100 if STR>201. If Archer class, instead of ATK+ they get Weight limit bonuses...something like +300~400 One thing about Cores too, they should be light...i mean...STR belts weight 800... >.> For INT and VIT Cores, the amouth of HP and SP could be fixed...something like... +500 SP instead of 30~40%(i mean...cmon it's more bonuses than Tanee card <.<) and +10k HP instead of 10%...
helios_eclipse Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 For INT and VIT Cores, the amouth of HP and SP could be fixed...something like... +500 SP instead of 30~40%(i mean...cmon it's more bonuses than Tanee card <.<) and +10k HP instead of 10%... this is quite good since nd-belt doesn't give as much as 500sp and 10k hp....at least (MAYBE) it'll be fair to other characters. Since percentage increment varies between classes, it would be more beneficial to those high hp characters. So increasing it by a set amount isn't that bad. *STR Core; -ATK +400 if STR<100. -ATK +200 if STR<200. -ATK +100 if STR>201. i get you with this one but, the difference between all the additions shouldn't be that much..tweak it a bit more and it would be good to go..(prolly)
Kittie Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 so i suggestion fro core become donation stuff (not quest anymore). Well you could just make it so you trade in 2 belts for 1 core via quest. Or something like that.
orthikuss Posted July 14, 2009 Author Report Posted July 14, 2009 update: fro core (donation) fro str core: atk +330 fro agi core: flee +60 fro vit core: max hp +15% vit def -5% fro int core: max sp +33% (i think ppl more interest with this effect than matk) fro dex core: hit +70 (prevent improve dodge passive skill) fro luk core: PD +7 pls GM test these effect. i hope this balance with donation items. thx for all opinion and suggestion /no1
Millenia Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 i see this bringing no balance at all, infact, the opposite.
Sensation Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 update: fro core (donation) fro str core: atk +330 fro agi core: flee +60 fro vit core: max hp +15% vit def -5% fro int core: max sp +33% (i think ppl more interest with this effect than matk) fro dex core: hit +70 (prevent improve dodge passive skill) fro luk core: PD +7 pls GM test these effect. i hope this balance with donation items. thx for all opinion and suggestion /no1 Try looking at the vesper cores. These stats are far beyond that and also have too much items. Imitate the vesper cores, but make it an upgrade from is used there, yet don't make it be tons better than the current 'donation' belts. These raw stats are things we have plenty off, a nice change in itemization is very welcome and could make a huge difference, yet not twisting the balance the other way. The quest idea itself is a nice one, people should work for their gears if they want something special like that. Rework the stats on the cores and perhaps reduce the amount of cores, what is shown now isn't much more than replacing a raw stat by it's (much better in this case) substat, it should be nearly equal. My thoughts haven't changed yet.
Anarii Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 How about: Core 1: INT+25 Max SP+15% Core 2: STR+25 ATK+100 Core 3: Agi+25 Flee+25 Core 4: Dex+25 Hit+25

The str core is meh, I have 270 str with a 2 donation str belts and only get 400 attack from each. The agi core is meh. The vit core is a little overpowered. I dont know the point of dex core. (except for people who dont have much hit :|, no point for snipers) The luck core is okay. When you said I hope this balances with donation items, didn't devotion or someone say it has to be between donation and non donation belts? :O This is all IMO.

How about: Core 1: INT+25 Max SP+15% Core 2: STR+25 ATK+100 Core 3: Agi+25 Flee+25 Core 4: Dex+25 Hit+25 good options /no1 - not overpowered. the core is, i entrusting the stats to u guys (especially GM), i just suggest 'new acc' (forsaken core).

Champs have 200k+ HP when they hit me 230k + with asura when i have reducts. The STR core That annari person or w/e is almost equivalent to the Donation Str belt. Champs can use 1 Str belts and 1 int core of annaris and dominate pvp. I think it should just be int stats and no +SP % included with the core.
Anarii Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 If they replace a str belt with an int core, their damage is reduced by alot, because they've just lost 40 STR. STR is more vital because the max SP for asura damage is 5940, which can be easily reachable without any sp boosting accessory, so I don;t think the int core would do much good for asura damage. as for the str core, maybe make it +50 ATK instead.

helios_eclipse Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 vesper core 01: mdef +3, int +2, max sp +5% The Max SP + 15% should be gone srsly. Make it like lower % I think its already good as it is..Lowering the value isn't that bad too though since Donation belts doesn't even give as much SP increment as that. Like what Devo stated, whatever stats these things would have can't be better than donation belts and have to be better than non-donation belts, but not too much more.
