sinichi69 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 I'm not sure how it functions, can someone explain it to me? I can't seem to understand how it ignores your defense. So what if your enemy uses skoll cards and has a negative defense, does it work too? And does Incantation card work with emperium as well? Thanks in advance.
Sensation Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Incantation has no effect on the emperium. And it only ignores normal defence, not VIT Def. As a lot of people don't wear overly upgraded gears, the effect isn't as noticeable as when they all would. Skoll Cards reduce your VIT def to counter thanatos' effect, these have no reduced effect on Incantation Samurai.
sinichi69 Posted June 30, 2009 Author Report Posted June 30, 2009 Thanks Sensation for the clarification. How to see Vit defense though?
Shield Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 VIT defense is the bonus part of your DEF. DEF 1+100 ... The 100 is your Vit-based defense.
Sensation Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 The first part of your overall stats mainly depends on gears and skills. The second part depends on your basic stats (str, agi, vit, int, dex, luk). mdef & def are the best examples for this. Flee also has pdodge calculated in there which means both agi/luk are involved in calculating how you totally would dodge physical damage. RO mechanics are fairly interesting and with some math you could use that as a pretty beneficial strategy, both offensive and defensive*. *HR nerfed the overall calculating process sadly, reducing the amount of usable status alignments and caps to prevent them.
sinichi69 Posted July 5, 2009 Author Report Posted July 5, 2009 One more question, is emperium considered as MvP here? If so, do 3 or 4 Abysmal Knight cards stack/work? And how do you determine the damage multiplier for example of TG?
Halion Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Good questions :O I think its considered a mvp here, so yea AK should work.
