mlcloud Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Now this is just strange. moc_fild07 And there's more. It's just a bunch of merchants under the names "control##" "Buy from me" "Buy this" + variants All selling Cotton Shirts, Knives, Peco feathers, apples, and other cheap assorted items at random numbers generally composed from 8, 6, and 7.... And there were about 30 of them. Creepy. More photos where they came from.. what do you guys make of this?
Samildanach Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 The last time I saw them, they were all lying down. Been curious about them myself. There used to be some in the Merchant Mall as I recall. (by the way you need to revise your weapon.)
Lempi Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 What exactly are they selling all the way out there?
Zero Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Comes to make me wonder, are @autotrade or whatever Merchants actually not counted in the server population, or could this be a plot to make the server seem well populated when you type /where. I mean, it sure doesn't feel like over 500+ active players and nonetheless, I've been killing the same people over and over in PvP. Only new names I see are always the same people, with new characters. Server feels more like if there are only around 160ish active players. Maybe this is a plot to make the server seem populated. Who knows, right? No proof and we can't really take a staff member's "honest" word in this since, well, honesty isn't really existing. Lol.
Aeon Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Any character that did not move for 15 minutes+ is not counted as online anymore. Those aren't bots nor is there any kind of plot/conspiracy. They're just auto-traders.

Terroryst Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Sometimes there's only like 200 people on after a D/C. Even if the D/C was 30 minutes prior to checking how many people were on.
