( refering to the doll who does +15 all stats and something more ) but to put the wings at like +5 all stats maybe +5% movement speed it would be less good then the doll... and they are ND and NV wings

The fire ones could be animated flames, earth could be leaves, air could be wing types and water...(haven't figured that out yet). I suggest this specifically for orthikuss' idea of elemental resistances bonuses

( GS dont have a great +x str bonus...

Some players want everything right away, but then if it's too easy they complain about boredom. In addition, these quest wings can't be better than woe items and such. So a longer quest is warranted.

Hated Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Every newer player will rejoice in the fact a quest wing does a auto cast i can under stand a 1 - 4 + stat but thats still a bit over kill you have to remember all of us older players who have spend money for a wing to just make us walk a bit faster then the next guy i think tone the quest down a bit and give them 5% walk speed 1% resilience of ____ Element based on the wing color since that seems popular or 10 % walk speed with +1 to all stat or make it normal with 15% walk speed

Newbies won't be able to suddenly kill you in PvP because of these wings. And I believe we already agreed on a +5% walking speed bonus. Normal +15% would be overkill. Devo talked about the elemental resistance already... And I have an idea for the tiered quests. I'm working on it, but I'm cruising through every single item on ratemyserver.net before I make anything concrete. So, it'll take a while...the S's have 51 pages lol... I've been working on it since the server went down, so yea. x-x I'll try to get something posted tomorrow.

Also, most people would want to keep a card worth that much for their own characters to use if they're just starting off. These wings offer an alternative to something like that. For voting wings, you have to get 45 vote coupons. That's 22 and a half days of voting IF you vote twice a day. I feel like we've been through this before. Ok, I'm going to try to make this clear so that people actually realize what I meant to achieve with this suggestion. This is a wing for new players, and Devotion suggested a way to keep players interested by going up through several levels. This is not meant to REPLACE any existing wings. The quest will be hard. That is a given. This is for people just starting off with little time on the game who want a pair of wings of their own. NOT for people lucky enough to get an MvP card to drop after they've built a good enough character or made enough friends that they can MvP. In a group, they'd likely have to share the profits anyway. You don't have to do the quest if you don't want to. It's giving these newer players a chance.

Devotion Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 why would you give stats to QUEST wings? There is already a wing with a total of 4 stats. The stats on the wings would not equal those on rucksacks, and they wouldn't be slotted, and their walking speed would be minimal, if they would even have it. all that together, considering our other items, wouldn't make them better than donation items.
