teacupx Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Posted May 20, 2009 :D thank you <3 LOL i know what you mean, I just took these because I thought shit was pretty, in my opinion, clicking a button isn't really art.. photography is beautiful but it's nature that is beautiful not something the person created so to me it isn't really art.
kaera Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 :D thank you <3 LOL i know what you mean, I just took these because I thought shit was pretty, in my opinion, clicking a button isn't really art.. photography is beautiful but it's nature that is beautiful not something the person created so to me it isn't really art. I disagree. A good photographer has a good eye for pictures, which is what makes someone a talented photographer, just like a painter or someone who draws. Even though you didn't create the thing you're taking a picture of, you're still creating the picture. You're still deciding the angles, and what light is good/what light isn't. Photography is an art, just like Painting is an art. (I suppose this is just my oppinion, though.) Btw, I like yo pictures.

teacupx Posted May 21, 2009 Author Report Posted May 21, 2009 Plus I draw. Everyone can pick up a camera and have mediocre knowledge of photoshop and label themselves a photographer (and get praised for it) but not everyone can say the same about a piece of charcoal and drawing, I think. Drawers and painters don't get enough credit anymore. Impressionist painters fascinate me because with the advent of the camera, the artists wanted to capture what could not be captured on film. Then again here I'm surrounded by 14 year old boys who just want to see some anime titties and have no recognition of real talent or creativity, so. I digress. hahaaaaa
