Yeung Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 This server is very fairly balanced, but lately I've noticed two disadvantages for the Stalker Class that tie into each other. First is my plea for a weight boost. As most of you know, Stalkers on this server have to main a bow, since there's no other way to do real damage without one, and since there's no other Elite weapon for us. With that being said, our DEX is usually maxed out. Along with pumping alot of stat points into VIT ( So we won't have terrible HP, not that it gets that much better in the first place ), and INT for SP, AGI for attack speed and flee, we barely have any points for STR. And with no strength, your weight limit is obviously gonna be low as hell. This is a big problem. We have to carry a bunch of stuff to even stand a chance in PvP ( With FCP abound, and our sub-par damage , you need tons of gear ). We hardly have enough weight to carry a good amount of yggs. With my weight, I can only carry 40 yggs before I hit the 90% mark. What's even worse is that we use yggs very fast because of our low HP, and run out way too quickly. We also have to use that low amount of yggs to replenish our SP because of skill usage, which with two FBH's (And even a hollowring or two ) isn't that great. Which brings me to my second problem. Skills like Bowling Bash and Counter Instinct sap our SP away very fast. Not to mention all the hiding and backsliding that most of us do, it's a serious issue. Most other classes don't have to worry about it, seeing as how they can carry a ton of yggs, but we can't. It's like starving on the battlefield. All I ask is that you consider helping us out. I don't think it will throw the balance of the server out of whack in any way. Maybe you could add a weight bonus to the armors or something. As for the skills, a bit of editing wouldn't be too bad would it?

Magic doesn't play very well either. So I agree with this, even just a small boost. Sure it's all in the build, but yeah.

Just ask them I even made a Stalker to prove that they're fucking godly as hell on this server. Entity is the name, being a ghost is my game ;)

Though I do agree with your sentiment, I've tested like... everything chica. :< @Leni ~ I do. But most other classes have enough firepower to make up for that. Stalkers don't really have any useful moves of their own. Not in high rates anyways because other than strip our moves become pretty useless. @Hobomagic ~ You wouldn't know how bad that build is because you don't play Stalker. >__>;;;; @Devin ~ Stick to Sniper. Maybe an "aurora" that enables the use of LV10 Enlarge Weight Limit(only if base STR<150)? As said earlier, this is an issue for all that don't need str in their builds. As for the sp consuption, i don't really think that's necessary...sp is not an issue even to 250 sp sinxes.

Anyways, for stalkers you can't really do a good ND 'cause of their weight problem and horrible HP modifier. I only tried donation so far and it works decently, so I guess you gotta put less DEX or something.
