as far as i know this have been suggested before and i think it iwas [GM]Sensation who said that the sprites of the GS shotgun are ready to be implemented on game but they have never implemented it and he didnt give a reason.

I think its already a work in progress, especially elite GS shotgun which is only waiting to be implemented.

Sensation has all the elite weapon sprites made, including a 'slinger shotgun. It is only fair that Gunslingers have access to all their skills through elite weapons. They need to be implemented, however, which takes time.
