Kuyuti Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 I feel the hate enlcosing the love disposing the mind bending this heart condenscending Memories have past, This lie is a cast, Facing all that I know Striving for what I show, Where will this life lead me? Will my heart be left bleeding? I could let people surround, yet lonely is how I will drown, Is this how I'm supposed to live? When Nothing is all I can give. Trying to exist today, Breathing in what I say, Is love there alone? Has life yet been shown? I feel this death enclosing, This life disposing, This heart bending, this love condenscending. Memories have past, And have left me with a cast, Facing all I don't know, Striving to hide this show, Where will death leave me? When will this heart stop bleeding? Close these doors to the past, Else my future life won't last, Cut off this arm fast, so I won't carry this cast, Hold my breath tight, Close my eyes lose sight, Where do I end this fight? I can only last with all my might. Here I am in the darkness tonight Alone, lost and looking for light...
Kuyuti Posted March 18, 2009 Author Report Posted March 18, 2009 It could be a song, thus why it is lyrical but none the less it is still poetry. A bit emo I agree but it was somewhat intended to be, not I am "emo" myself but the song is supposed to capture emotion :).
