teacupx Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 So, these are just a few signatures I've done. One is for my friend, one I did for myself. They took me about 2 hours each on GIMP. I think they turned out really well. I especially like the brushes I used on mine. The gradient looks nice. And believe it or not, I used NO stock. I drew everything myself. Please, don't be too harsh. I worked really hard. If you want me to make you one, I'm only charging 150 coupons per signature. Thanks :) <3.

Nick Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 Honest opinion ahead: The text fascinates me. Meaningless at first sight but if you study them a bit you can find a deep theme behind them. Did you intend on "sublimally" expressing anything or are did you simply take pretty sentences full of big words?

Meaningless at first sight but if you study them a bit you can find a deep theme behind them. Did you intend on "sublimally" expressing anything or are did you simply take pretty sentences full of big words? No, in all seriousness I was making a point, subliminally. But I just assumed, based on the people that use this forum, that no one would pick up on it. 2 cookies for you!
Nick Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Does it have anything to do with people losing faith in/respect for mathematics / science? At least that's what I interpret "the perimeter of the parabola [deciding] to wither" as. However the other two have to do with birth, marriage and families ("fallopian tube", "polygomy [sic]"); perhaps "parabola" has some other meaning, other than the obvious mathematical one? The only definition I can find is the function (f(x) = y²). Or are they unrelated? Also the word "wither" intrigued me. Initially I wondered how a defined, unchanging purely mathematical concept can "wither", however the word "wither" has another, interesting definition: 2. to lose the freshness of youth, as from age (often fol. by away). Is this what you were referring to? Mathematics growing old? And humanity living in bliss and happiness (effervescence)?
