Sorrow Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 If they were tradeable, they would be cheap(nothing like 500coupons..), rich people would buy from others and not vote themselves(less votes for forsaken) Besides a vote is an individual thing, you can't trade it in like...allow one person to vote twice as you give up your right to vote, so the rewards are linked to you as well. i should also add that if they were tradeable, what was supposed to help forsaken in the voting sites would become a cheap way to make coupons and itens, think that would also imbalance a bit...one having access to all reward itens without having to wait a period. This could lead to people buying one another in like..."vote to get X reward iten and sell me, i'll pay you Y amount." They would also be open to scam. Those are the reasons i see for it...i think they not being tradeable is K;. ^^
Devotion Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 It would diminish votes, which was what the system was designed to do: increase the number of votes for an extended period. If you could trade items to other accounts you wouldn't have to vote on the other accounts for that same item.
Zeitgeist Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Because people would do 724 accounts, vote on each one of them and gather all the voting coupons on one account, or the same process but each account buying one voting prize and then trade it over to a single account for trading purposes. I know others have already said it, but eh.

Even if the voting items were tradeable, their price would be next to nothing due to being able to bot outside the game; this would also get us in trouble with the voting sites since a player could start farming votes, vote spam the site and get us delisted.

It would be getting like 6 vote coupons a day...you just multiply the number of accounts by 2 and that's the number you'd get by day. Kinda unfair and kills the pouse of obtaining votes in long periods for forsaken.
