Having softer colors is not only softer on the eyes, but it gives players a wider selection of color combinations. It's hard to find something that looks good with a really bold ring around you. PS: Maybe you could take the next screenshots on a dart map. I think yuno_in03 is almost completely black. That would really show us the true colors. Nice stuff. well i tried them ingame but gen didnt seem to like them because they are like the original emps, but wth we need emps that match palettes and not bold bright colors. kinda ruins emp aura. ill test them on that map soon and show you guys them. note: emp auras really fuck up when converted to sprites. qq

Amitsu Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 its BETTER to have them like the original blueberry's don't look too bad but not sure how they look in game. what's that bottom left? cuz the one that you just showed looks like the ones in game as of now in my eyes. to a point--can' really see the white >.< look at blueberry's siggy for instance, that looks fine but i don't know about the opacity xD

People get a deadline to submit their entries and then the community may vote for the ones they'd prefer. Including the current sprites of course. That way, there would be fair competition, nobody could be hating in the end because even if somebody does not like the chosen sprites, there's still the poll as reference to prove the community's approval. All this seems a bit backhandedly. :|
