Before I was using a Razr (ugh), and when I got my new phone there was definitely a learning curve, but you get used to it. Every letter is out for you and you don't have to multi-click a button to get w/e. Or you won't have typos as frequently when the smart text or w/e defaults some other word. And symbols are easy access since you just alt-click to get to them. It's so easy once you get the hang of it.
