Defiance Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Whenever I play a certain online game, there comes a time when I get something really epic (like some pro items), and then eventually lose/waste them in the most stupid of ways. I know its just items that I'll eventually gain back, but dang, I keep on suffering major losses but can't quit due to in-game accomplishment (and time/effort wasted). YA, I FEEL LIKE QQing RITE NOW. Added rant: I hate it when game developers use images of (half) naked women as a marketing strategy. Very heartbreaking.

Thank fullly FRo was far different from the others...sooner or later i lose the sparkle with a bit of time, but it hasn't happened to FRo so i'm relieved ^^ BTW...i recently startd playing an on line game because i wanted to play with my friend taht seriously quit RO...observing the female characters i came to ask him "Do the girls of this game ever wear something that covers their legs whole? Or their torsos for that matter?" Yeah...the guys use huge armors and long robes...but the girls...makes me kind of desapointed...do they think all gamers are perverts? >.> i know they do it for money and etc etc so i don't want to hear anyone telling the obvious but...jeez...

It actually makes most women more appealing and desirable in the sense that it enhances their beauty. But game developers exaggerate it too much and usually abuse that fact. And I think women wouldn't like to wear something skimpy even if they were real modern day warriors.

billy Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 yea, like forever and ever, the producers always add whats "right", but the damned game changes so much is plays like crap and the game starts adding more stuff. storta like a shell, where you painted it so muhc, you cant see the original desing anymore. Thankfully this didnt happen and probably never will happen on fRO ;-;

XD i just find it funny...how people see it and know they are being used to the company in question(that appeals for their instincts rather than their mind) and still praise it XD Good gameplay, nice dynamics and good development is what really atracts me in a game...not the character's wardrobe...
