Throw Kunai

Throw a Kunai at an enemy dealing three hits in a row. Damage is ATK*300%

Upgrade : Throw a Kunai at an enemy dealing three hits in a row. Damage is ATK*x000%; Raise the ATK percentage.

Purpose : Ninjas should do considerable damage with Kunai, enough damage to kill an enemy. Why don't they? If they throw a Fuuma Shuriken all the time they're open to Magic and Coma. Bad enough they can only rely on Magic and Final Strike which are easily countered. Maybe they should be given a chance.

Cast-off Cicada Shell

An advanced Ninja technique that allows one to disappear instantly from their location to avoid damage, however if you are struck you will jump back 7 cells in the direction you were hit (you are not pushed back in WoE). Not all skills can be blocked including Magic attacks.

Upgrade : Reduce the delay given to the skill.

Purpose : They have a retarded HP pool and have terrible skills that are all easily countered. Bad enough they only have the ability to dodge only 3 skills in a server with 195 ASPD.

Catalyst Based (Offensive) Skills

Upgrade : Remove catalysts or lower catalyst weight.

Purpose : Poor ninjas already have to carry a vast amount of yggs to survive, if they're INT based they also have to carry a million catalysts since enemies here don't die in seconds like they do in iRO. Remove the catalysts to reduce the weight penalty. Or lower the weight of the stones.

Soul Linker

Kaahi

While this buff lasts, every time you are successfully attacked (skill attacks are not affected), it takes SkillLV*5 SP and heals SkillLV*200 HP. If you receive many attacks in a short time, the skill heal you for the total of the attacks (up to the heal limit). Can only be used on yourself, your spouse, children or other Soul Linkers; if used on someone else, the caster will be stunned for 0.5 sec (not reduced by VIT).

Upgrade : Recover 5,000 or 8,000 HP per hit.

Purpose : This is a High Rate, need I say more?

Lord Knight

Aura Blade

Creates a special aura around the weapon that increases damage and ignores the targets DEF, but not his Flee.

5 | ATK +100, 120 Sec Duration

Upgrade : Increase second duration

Purpose : Well? Assassin Crosses get 32k+ damage for 10 minutes and their catalysts are easy to find.

Concentration

If you use this skill, your HIT and damage will receive a huge increase, but all your defense based upon equipment and stats will decrease. This skill also gives the Endure effect upon cast without further SP cost and will reset the 7-Hit counter if the Endure effect was already active. Also, the 10 sec recast Endure timer will be reset, but only if the original effect came from the Swordman Endure Skill (yes, basically you can recast Endure within the 10 sec with this, but only ONCE, since Concentration-Endure does NOT reset its own Endure timer). Contrary to the IRO name, it can be used with every weapon.

5 | HIT +50, ATK +25%, DEF -25%, 45 Sec

Upgrade : Increase the duration of the skill to around 200 - 300 seconds

Purpose : 45 seconds in a high rate where duels last an hour and you could be engaged without backing off for around 20 minutes straight? It's annoying having to cast this skill every 45 seconds.

Paladin

Gloria Domini

Ranged attack that calls upon a cross from the sky to crush your enemies. Does a fixed amount of 500+300*SkillLV damage and makes the target loose 15%+5*SkillLV% SP. This skill is an attack by the holy God himself and therefore ignores all enemy defense and Flee, and can not be interrupted or canceled by Magic Rod, Reflect Shield, Pneuma, Safety Wall, etc. Damage is not reduced by Woe Reduction, Energy Coat, equipment or cards; but is not affected by Lex Aeterna. The only way to avoid it is by Cloaking before getting targeted. Works against Bosses and the Emperium.

Downgrade : Add a higher delay

Purpose : Overpowered

Shield Chain

Attack 5 times with your shield. HIT +20. Higher level of refinement and heavier shields will result in higher damage. This skill requires an equipped shield and ignores size modifications.

5 | 150% ATK

Upgrade : Raise the ATK to around 400+%ish?

Purpose : Underpowered and GR evades it, give versatility to the class

High Wizard

Stave Crasher

You do an attack that calculates damage using your MATK instead of ATK but is decreased using enemy's DEF, not MDEF. This skills overall damage is affected by cards you have in your weapon, weapon element, size and element of the target and it might miss depending on your DEX.

Upgrade : Increase damage, by a lot, skill never misses

Purpose : Class in general is underpowered

Ganbantien

Casts a spell that cancels all ground-targeted spells within the area. If casted upon Land Protector, it will cancel that spell within its area, but the rest of Land Protector will still be in effect. Uses up 1 Blue Gemstone and 1 Yellow Gemstone. This skill is not affected by skills or cards that remove gemstone casting requirements. Success chance is 80% and it will still consume a Gemstone if it fails.

Upgrade : Remove catalyst usage

Purpose : Useful skill and High Wizard have low weight modifiers, bad enough they need to carry a million yggs in order to survive after every 3 hits due to their low HP

Gravitational Field

Greatly increases the force of gravity, reducing enemy attack speed while also dealing DEF-ignoring damage every second. The great difficulty of this skill prevents you from doing anything else while casting, including using items. The ASPD-Reduction is 5% per SkillLV. The movement and attack speed reduction does not affect Boss monsters, but you will still deal the DEF-ignoring damage. Requires 1 Blue Gemstone

5 | 1200 Dmg/Sec, -25% ASPD, Duration 9 sec, 100 Cost SP

Upgrade : Remove the "preventing you from doing anything", increase the damage to 5,000 Dmg/Sec and have a quagmire effect (if possible) - reducing movement speed, remove casting time required

Purpose : Class is underpowered

Professor

Health Conversion

Converts 10% of your HP into SP. The higher the skill level the more effective the conversion will be. The conversion rate is 10:1 modified by SkillLV, so a 2000 HP Professor with Health Conversion LV 3 would consume 2000*10%=200 HP and obtain a total of 200*30%=60 SP.

Upgrade : Reduce the % of HP lost to 2%

Purpose : I've died using this skill trying to save up on yggs LOL

Soul Burn

This skill will burn all SP the target has, thus damaging it with its own SP. Since this damage is done to the mental system, it will be decreased by the target's MDEF. If you fail this skill, YOUR SP will be drained, and you will damage yourself. The damage is equal to twice the removed SP.

Upgrade : Pierce GTB, increase damage dealt

Purpose : GTB is a bitch

Double Casting

During the skill's duration, all Bolt-type spells (including Auto-Spells) have a chance of being casted a second time instantly.

Upgrade : Remove casting time

Purpose : No purpose for having casting time

Sniper/Hunter

Sniper

True Sight

Increases all your stats by +5, also increases your HIT by +3 per SkillLV, damage by +2% per SkillLV, CRIT rate by 1 per SkillLV. Stacks with Improve Concentration.

Upgrade : Increase duration

Purpose : SKILL LASTS LIKE 3 SECONDS LOL..

Falcon Assault

Order your Falcon to attack an enemy with enormous power. Increases the Attack Power of the Falcon attack (based on Blitz Beat of equal LV) by +150%+70*SkillLV%. Attack Range: 3+(Vulture's Eye LV).

Lvl 5 | Damage +500%

Upgrade : Damage +1000%

Purpose : 6k is the maximum damage dealt with it, falcon is DemiHuman/Neutral thus easy to counter

Hunter

Land Mine

A Land Mine is a visible trap that explodes when stepped on, hitting the monster or player (in PvP only) that triggered it for [DEX + 75] * [1 + INT/100] * SkillLV Earth Element damage. This skill ignores Def and MDEF and damage modification cards for size and family, but not elemental property. There is also an unknown chance to stun targets for 1 + 0.5*SkillLV seconds. This trap will affect Players in PVP zones, including the user. If not tripped by the end of the duration, the Land Mine will turn back into a Trap item on the floor and can be reclaimed.

Lvl 5 | ATK 150%, Setting Time 40 secs

Upgrade : ATK 800+%, Setting Time 50 secs

Purpose : Crappy trap, give it some use

Steel Crow

Adds 6*SkillLV damage to each hit with Blitz Beat. Note that Blitz Beat can do up to 5 hits.

Upgrade : Add 10+*SkillLV to each hit with Blitz Beat

Purpose : It sucks

Phantasmic Arrow

Launches an arrow of illusion from your bow. It has 150% ATK, and if it hits the enemy, it pushes them back 3 cells. You can use this skill even if you have no Arrows equipped.

Upgrade : Push enemies away from Pneuma

Purpose : Pneuma > Sniper/Hunter, give them a chance

High Priest/Priest

High Priest

N/A

Priest

Gloria

Gives the Gloria effect to all characters in party near the caster. The Gloria effect adds LUK +30. When a second instance is cast, then it will replace the first instance on any affected targets.

Lvl 5 | Lasts 30 Seconds

Upgrade : Increase the duration time to 60 Seconds

Purpose : High Rate, battles last longer thus Gloria should too

Stalker/Rogue

Reject Sword

When in PVP mode it has a chance to reduce all sword and dagger damage by half and returns the other half to the attacker for 3 hits. Works on monsters regardless of their weapon.

Upgrade : Reflect damage to every close-range weapon

Purpose : Bad HP and bad skills, useless class basically

Close Confine

For 10 seconds, you grab a single enemy, preventing you and the target to move. While you grab onto someone, you will have +10 bonus to Flee Rate. If either the victim or you die, or should any of them teleport away, this skill is cancelled.

Upgrade : +50 Flee Rate

Purpose : Stalker suck

Back Stab

Powerful attack that can only be used from behind the enemy. Cannot miss and will turn the target to face the caster, thus preventing repeated use. Damage is 320%+40%*SkillLV ATK (halved if used with a bow type weapon).

Lvl 10 | 700% ATK

Upgrade : 1200% ATK

Purpose : Stalker/Rogue need all the help they can get...

Raid

Attacks a target and the 3*3 cells below it with a chance to Stun and Blind. Rogue must be hiding to use this skill. Damage is 100%+40%*SkillLV ATK. Chance to Stun/Blind is 10%+SkillLV*3.

5 | 300% Attack, 25% Chance

Upgrade : 1000% ATK, 45% Chance

Purpose : Once again, all the help they can get..

Alchemist/Creator/Homunculus

Acid Demonstration

Causes explosion for up to 10 consecutive hits. Target's weapon and armor has a chance to be destroyed. Deals only 50% damage to other humans. Damage formula per hit is: (0.7 * Target's VIT * Creator's INT^2) / (Target's VIT + Creator's INT).

10 | 10 Hits | 10% Chance to destroy weapon and armor

Downgrade : 3% Chance to destroy weapon and armor at level 10 or Remove chance to destroy equipment or remove catalysts from mall

Purpose : Overpowered as hell

Bio Cannibalize

Description too long

Upgrade : Increase Geographer's HP to around 85,000+ & increase heal

Purpose : It's useless and dies fast.

Homunculus : Lif

Touch of Heal

This works exactly like the Acolyte's Heal skill, healing the target HP. The healed amount depends only on the Homunculus's LV and INT. Each cast requires 1 Condensed Red Potion.

Upgrade : Remove Catalyst, increase Heal rate

Purpose : HR = too much HP, could be an alternative to yggs.

Homunculus : Filir

Moonlight

Order Creature to attack the target with its beak hitting the target for SkillLV times with a total damage bonus of 110*SkillLV% (maybe this is total damage NOT bonus).

Lvl 5 | Times Hit : 3 - ATK 660%

Upgrade : ATK 1200%

Purpose : Filir needs to be useful for something

Fleet Move

Temporarily increase ASPD by +3*SkillLV and Attack Power by 105%+5*SkillLV% of Filir (maybe the increase is only 5+5*SkillLV?).

Lvl 5 | ASPD : 15 | Damage Bonus : 130% | Lasting Time : 40 sec | After-cast Delay : 120 sec

Upgrade : Damage Bonus : 400%, Lasting Time : 100 sec, After-cast Delay : 20 sec

Purpose : Filir have no use at the moment

Over Speed

Temporarily increase the Flee Rate of your Homunculus by 10+10*SkillLV.

Lvl 5 | Flee Bonus : 60 | Lasting Time : 40 sec | Cool down : 120 sec

Upgrade : Flee Bonus : 100+ | Lasting Time : 60 sec | Cool down : 30 sec

Purpose : High Rate server, homunculus need more power

Homunculus : Amistr

Castling

Instantaneously switch the location of the player and the Homunculus. The monsters that were attacking the player will now attack the Homunculus instead.

After Cast Delay: 50 + 10*SkillLV (except LV 5 which is 129 sec)

Upgrade : Reduce After cast delay to 15 seconds

Purpose : Amistr have no other use but this skill

Homunculus : Vanilmirth

Bio Explosion

Homunculus self destructs and inflicts defense ignoring damage on everything within a 9x9 square around it. The damage is based on the Homunculus Maximum HP, and after the attack, its intimacy is reduced to 1.

Lvl 3 | Maximum HP*2

Upgrade : At level 3, HP*5

Purpose : It sacrifices all of its intimacy for this attack, it should be much stronger considering the Vanilmirth sacrifices itself

Overall Homunculus "Upgrade"

Increase HP modification on every Homunculus, I could kill them with 3 hits.

Looks really balancing to me, class-wise. People could just add other balance-geared skill/item changes so that I can organize them on a list and present it to Gen.

I like this Idea There are some things I will most likely have to cover when I have time. SL/SK/TK and Few other things that need fixes.

As for Falcon Assault. Bump that up to 1.2k-1.5k% Attack... I mean this is a high rate and Bards get 1.2%? They aren't even ment to be Dealing high damage. FA already has a long Delay as well. I'd like to see this skill

I agree with Steel Crow- Every other Attack boost has been increased by like 400-600 Why not Steel Crow?

Clowns are meant to deal high damage.

Dude in iRO they kill Assassin Crosses with 1~2 Arrow Vulcan and Lord Knights with around 4...

But alright, I will update the thread with the requests and Steel Crow is not necessarily essential to the High Rate Sniper/Hunter. Most only spam Double Strafing which in the process does not cast Blitz Beat. I'll wait until a few more people agree with you and no problem with the thread, I've been looking forward to some useful upgrades, this thread is meant to give them an idea on what to upgrade, not an official upgrade list.

&These skills are meant to give power to weak classes or to boost necessary skills adequate enough to be considered good for a high rate.

FA is based on Falcon "Attack" sort of, which means DEX INT and LUK all play a role into how much Blitz Beat/FA does Aswell Steel Crow does play a role too which is why maybe a boost on Steel Crow :O. I mean with no Reductions ECT FA does about 6k damage... so meh -.-.. And yes I know Clowns are meant to deal higher Damage but I am just saying that with the enabling of Yggs it is harder to out Ygg a Clown then a Sniper and Snipers in iRO are formidable in PVP aswell due to the recast on DS.

Aura blade is powerful enough as it is, it just needs a time increment, Lord Knights hit hard with it.

Gloria Domini could get rid of all your SP in a matter of seconds, SP being essential game play.

Clown > Snipers in iRO

Blitz Beat in general isn't used though, that's why it'll be only a waste of time unless the player is MvPing. Don't forget it will always remain Neutral/DemiHuman as in, GR/Raydric/Combat Knife/Usakoring would reduce it down by a lot.

Wait until more people agree with you and I will edit it.

Well The Steel Crow wasn't for Blitz Beat, Nobody uses Blitz Beat <.<... The Steel Crow was for FA, Since of Course FA will always be Nuetral then you are looking at some High reductions to face up to only reason why I made those suggestion. I played Clown on a low rate and a good one can beat almost any job class. I will admit to that but I think after Third classes come out Snipers may get an upper hand.

Technically no, I did say 10*+ which means it's open to be increased by any higher amount.

As for Steel Crow, if it increases Blitz Beat and Blitz Beat damage(?) increases Falcon Assault, the basis of the entire skill's damage would be based on Steel Crow.

It's confusing, I'll add Blitz Beat then and Falcon Assault itself.

Edit : I already added Falcon Assault.. long ago.

Ok I think if both FA and Steel Crow are increased even a bit it would still help that build out a lot. :D and ya Blitz Beat is also Autocasted when you attack based on luck so that is why most people don't use the skill XP

yea i think edp should also have a length increase

i wouldn't really tamper too much with the traps except maybe ankle snare. double the snare length time but half it during woe so it's the same.

the phantasmic arrow or w/e is a good idea because you really gay having some champ pneuma and body relocate to the next pneuma

1) Increase hits to 10.

2) Decrease casting. ( Sprite-wise. Remove one or two frames so it gets a bit more spammable, at least. )

Purpose:
1) Why does it even hit 9 times? o_O

2) Spammability is veeery low. Bad connection & can't play the class.


Gypsy

Scream / Dazzler
Inflicts everything (including players) with stun within area of effect. In PvP or Guild siege area, this skill works on caster as well. Stun chance is 25% + 5*SkillLV%. ( -> 50% at level 5. )

Upgrade: Change it to Freeze / Stone Curse. ( I'd prefer Freeze )

Purpose: This skill has absolutely no use right now.


Proffessor

Fiber Lock
Summon a spider web on a 3x3 target area to make any victim that step on it unable to move (like the Hunter skill Ankle Snare), also reduces the victim's Flee Rate by half. If this web is hit by any fire elemental skill, then the web will burn away, and cause 2x more damage than the skill itself alone would have done. You can only catch one enemy with each cast and you can not have more than 3 webs active at the same time.


Upgrade
: Make it no consume the web. Just like arrows.

Purpose
: It's so hard to farm them ( few mobs, huge map ) & takes for ever. Magic classes need a boost anyways, so.

Blueberry - I don't know if it's WPE program or as Gen told me 4 kiels and buffs, but I saw someone named iShake spamming arrow vulcan at someone until he dies ( A pro sinx) Like a thing as delay doesn't even exist, so need to check it out first if it's cheating or fairly done.

It's a sprite edit in your data folder, which still is a client modification, which is illegal. Said method now is forbidden to use and bannable.

arrow vulcan is already strong, don't need to buff it. You can easily reduce AV to ~2k a hit.

Inflicts everything (including players) with stun within area of effect. In PvP or Guild siege area, this skill works on caster as well. Stun chance is 25% + 5*SkillLV%. ( -> 50% at level 5. )

Upgrade: Change it to Freeze / Stone Curse. ( I'd prefer Freeze )

Purpose: This skill has absolutely no use right now.

Fiber Lock

Summon a spider web on a 3x3 target area to make any victim that step on it unable to move (like the Hunter skill Ankle Snare), also reduces the victim's Flee Rate by half. If this web is hit by any fire elemental skill, then the web will burn away, and cause 2x more damage than the skill itself alone would have done. You can only catch one enemy with each cast and you can not have more than 3 webs active at the same time.

Upgrade: Make it no consume the web. Just like arrows.

Purpose: It's so hard to farm them ( few mobs, huge map ) & takes for ever. Magic classes need a boost anyways, so.

Issues..

Arrow Vulcan : Powerful as hell already, Gypsies and Clowns can remove literally 2/3rd of my Assassin Crosses HP in one 3-spam strike.

Scream/Dazzler : No need, Gypsies already have the feature to dramatically decrease the player's movement speed, attack speed and agility. It atones for their inability to freeze people.

Fiber Lock : Annoying enough it is to completely stop a player's movements on one location and continue placing 2 more webs after, some professors can keep me away from them for beyond 15 minutes or until they run out of webs, we don't want them to be able to indefinitely keep people away from them.

@Amitsu : EDP is good enough, I said 10 minutes to exaggerate for just how long that crap lasts in battle. I think EDP should actually be reduced down to the same time of Concentration's current duration, but if I suggested it people would QQ since around 1/2 the server's PvP is Assassin Cross. The ability to raise 3k normal hits to 34k+ is good enough as it is, no need to make it last longer.

I chose skills that wouldn't overpower the classes and would just balance them out with the current overpowered ones.
