Avalon Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 I'd prefer guilds to have a face-to-face battle with no other factors interfering with a straightforward "who's stronger" guild battle, except for the factors of terrain and the objective (protecting the Emperium versus killing all your enemies). Guardians give an unnecessary advantage to castle holders when they already have terrain and ambush on their side. I still don't really care which way it goes. Maybe instead of making them ridiculously strong, they could be moderately strong or invincible with 510 HIT and low damage so they can delay or slightly handicap players. They could also cast buffs on the castle holders or something...
Amitsu Posted February 1, 2009 Author Report Posted February 1, 2009 did you even woe at all yet? there is no face to face, it's just run to emp and break it. no castle has stood for at least 30 minutes. ever. 510 is basically the same as 600 because in woe your flee is decreased by 100.

I remember when I started I just never saw Faghrid cast got taken... maybe once during the whole hour... Im not sure if by those times it was Limitless or Elysum the one holding the castle... Oh well its still true... everyone just rushes to the emp full speed and some stay at the door for laddering... however.... Quit basing everything you say on assumptions already and play the damn game instead of commenting off of what you've read or observed. I agree with Amitsu, you know, Genesis has already talked about buffing the Guardians up, he just has never seemed to actually do it well enough to make them more interesting to use. Guardians are meant to completely destroy the other guilds if they don't do teamwork, or else, why the hell would they be called Guardians? They'd be called "Delay-Bots" or "Invasion Postpone Machines". If a guild took a castle, then they should have every force and right to defend it, I mean, the purpose of WoE is to Invade a castle and try to keep it until it ends right? @Galaxy: This is a suggestion, the community gives their word on whether or not they agree or disagree, so yeah, leave it up to the Administrators in the end after we give our ideas on the suggestion in order to help them decide whether they'd consider it or not.

The members all stuck together like fricken spineless conjoined twins and don't have the balls to leave or rebel.
