PS - Could it be because I used Firefox to download the all in one? I use firefox as my main browser. I'm going to try to reinstall it using internet explorer

I'm assuming that you didn't read my earlier post which I don't blame you. I tried reinstalling several times, that didn't work. Even though this issue isn't solved yet, I would like to thank everyone for trying to help, especially Bishop and Genesis. I hope the issue gets solved soon though. Thanks everyone!

When the screen is black, the sound still works and it's black on all maps except when I'm inside a shop, hotel, etc... As for mouse freedom, I have the .dll thing for it but I don't think it's working.

It didn't work at all. Not even temp. Still black. :(

I did about everything I could possibly think to do in setup. Nothing is working. My drivers for my video card is up to date The screen is still black when I play it.

Nope, screen still black when I leave the shop. It doesn't matter if I have lightmap on or not.

Update: I went to Prontera and the screen is still black unless I go inside the weapon shop. The weapon shop, I can everything just fine but when I leave the shop, the screen is black again.

It's only the RO client. What's weird is that it doesn't do it all the time but about 70 to 80% of the time. I'll try to update drivers and see what that does. I also have Directx 11.

Hold on, isn't equipment usually broken first on this server if you obtain them from a monster? That might be it. I'll try that, if not I'll come back.

Nevermind, it went black on me again just a few minutes before I posted this current message. I didn't do anything different though.

I tried those before you mentioned them. That didn't work however, it went back to normal yesterday and still working. I don't know what I did that made it stop but it works just fine now. I'll let you guys know when and if it happens again.

I have a lvl 74 assassin and the only equipment that I can use on him is the equipment I start out with. With the knife weapon, I can only equip the knife itself. I even picked up the exact same knife from a monster and it wouldn't even let me equip that. I can only equip the exact knife I start out with. Please help, thanks in advance!

I notice that it only does this when the game switches to "night" mode. It goes completely black to where I can't see a thing. During the day it seems to work fine. I would like to be able to play this when it's night time at my house because that's usually when I get off work. Is there anyway I can fix this?

I was playing earlier today and it worked just fine for about an hour, afterwards the screen went black and I couldn't see anything. Here is what I tried so far: Adjusting the settings Reinstalling the full download multiple times Restarting Computer Making a new character None of these worked for me. I don't know what to do.
