Well, between the Elites that want all MvP cards to themselves, the hideous server economy, the only half-true nature of "no donation-exclusive items", and the fact that the GMs don't even agree on what the rules are, I and mine are out of here. I know nobody's going to read this or even care, but here's some thoughts.
Full PK with no MvP rooms means that only those who have already either ascended into the Elite status or who have gotten full sets of F.King gear will win contested MvPs.
"Winning a contested MvP" doesn't mean "sitting around until the MvP has 3% of its HP left, killing everyone else off and taking the kill at the last second".
"Class balance" does not mean "Asura Strike kills everyone who's carded for anything but PvP".
"Verbal abuse" either means smack-talking when PKing or it doesn't. Make up your minds.
When someone repeatedly denies other players access to game content by use of PK/PvP mechanics, including such statements as "Don't hunt MvPs when I'm hunting", that is griefing. Griefing is a form of player harassment. Sorry you guys don't understand that.
I'm not some idiot n00b who just wants to run off to a carebear server; I've been playing MMOs, including full-PK servers, since before some of the people who run this server were in grade school. I've been on some very well-run and well-kept PK servers, and some horribly-implemented ones. This would fall in the latter category. Those people who have vulgarity-riddled pissing matches over the broadcaster? Those are the players your "if you don't like it, go somewhere else" attitudes are supporting. There is no top-down effort at community here, only a Lockean state of nature in which only those who are willing to be the meanest and cruelest are going to achieve anything.
Have fun with your Asura-bombing "MvP Rapers" groups, your griefers that think they own every MvP that spawns, the loud and vulgar man-children that talk about "fgt ngas" in FCity and over broadcast, and the "events" that amount to a game of Dice, a few rounds of entirely luck-based Hide & Seek, and some PvP battles. I know I wasn't.
