Donation Tokens Sale to Increase Token Flow

Hi All, Good Day to you guys. I am here to make a suggestion today to increase the Forsaken Token Flow in the server.

 

Current Situation:

I haven't been in the server for a long time, but I notice that lesser people have the buying power to buy items in Tokens.

Tokens are just circulating and people are not spending it, and we still have to put into consideration that features like Casinos are burning Tokens.

$20 Headgear = 1.2k to 1.5k Tokens (As of current market)

$40 worth of Tokens from Tokenshop = 1,440 Tokens

People choose to donate Headgear instead of donating tokens, therefore fewer Tokens in game.

 

Suggestion to Solve Current Situation:

Once a month or 2 months, for a Limited time of 1 hour, Forsaken Tokens from Tokenshop will be put up on 30% sale.

Limited to first 5 or 10 donors only (this is to control the flow of tokens so it won't cause too much inflation)

 

Side Note:

*These are just my thoughts, kindly give me your feedback below ?

*Personally I find it hard to sell donations as the demand are low unless there are new headgears

Alright, so ive been here since late 2009~2014 and of course a lot of stuff have fluctuated in pricing, but AS OF RIGHT NOW, the market is pretty "stagnant" where it is basically trading items to get a SINGLE/MULTIPLE items, and of course, people would rather have "PURE PURE PURE" tokens to definitely get endgame gears/etc. 

To be quite honest, this truly is a great suggestion/post! I personally have it difficult to even sell items at a REASONABLE price, but I'm ONLY settled with, what i said before, just people trading items in order to OBTAIN/GET mine.

I believe this would definitely increase flow of tokens, as well as, make everyone happy with purchasing tokens over items :D!

This is on point in many ways.

There's got to be a balance between tokens and items. With an abundance of items (as is the state currently) the server won't get as many donations as it can because the players won't have enough tokens to purchase the newer items. Putting items on rotation without having buy power on the server won't lead to good results. It'll just make the donated limited time items more expensive and close to nearly unobtainable in-game. Vice versa also applies. There's got to be liquidity and a demand for different items.

Which brings us to a more complex point, which is class balancing. This is a super complex conversation and I'm not as well informed, we'll leave this part to the more experienced and technical players. (Cookie, Mano, etc). However theoretically, if there's saturation and only a few classes are played, the server is going to stagnate after a point. Fewer sales in certain sectors of item sales (specifically Soul linker capes/weps, Stalker capes/weps, etc)

I'd suggest having a sort of rotation while monitoring the number of active tokens/classes/items, coming down to some sort of ratio. Based on the ratio if there's a lack of tokens, create a token sale in the shop until the desired ratio is reached (IRL done as *till stocks last* sort of sales). If there's a high demand for items, create an item sale (IRL this is done in a way more stable manner with new stuff being released a little bit before a major holiday/seasonal purchasing event). If certain classes are constantly played, evaluate why, evaluate what the other classes are lacking and have them updated to the necessary place. Having a steady token sink in the game for impatient players might help as well (Similar to how you can purchase the f.king set for 100 tokens in the game or the casino, or farming for seeds, etc)

This is far from everything that's needed but thanks to everyone who's posted here. I hope we continue having productive discussions such as this one.

Umh, I've also been wondering about this and someone in game had a great suggestion. IDK if this will work but, if we could have an NPC that buys specific stuffs (e.g. imps, emps, valk expa, etc.) for specific amounts of token (should be lesser than the market value, e.g. LTD Pink Emp is at 8k player market price, the NPC can buy it at 6.5k pure tokens) to keep the flow of pure tokens running.

Yes, as of now I see people trading or selling stuff rather than buying with pure tokens. I mean, I even see someone selling LTD Jade Set for 50k and IDK but I rarely see people having that amount of pure token xD.

and yeah that NPC that can help us swap shit in our storage convert to tokens will be helpful
OR raise the conversion rate of ETOKS vs FTOKS via NPC  cause currently its 1:1 ... if you'd make it like 1 etok : 3 ftoks  .... THEN people would might even join ALL events keep the server alive since they can literally farm tokens !!!

you can even make this a temporary thing just to solve the current crisis in the market

They are doing token sales every now and then. But this regular but limited token sale sounds good.

True. I share the same thought. This comes down to class revisiting and rebalancing.

+1 also the the NPC that can convert stuff to tokens is also great idea, we have so much stuff/items in game but no tokens. 

But i suggest make it like a shard instead than tokens. Why? Because we can’t control market price even if single item cost 1500 tokens eventually they will reach to 1000. So why not make it a shard like lets see. Different amount different shards for different stuff like valk weap shards, aurora dhards etc... example if u disassemble valkyrie weap it’ll give you 1 shard and u need 2-3 shards for 1 of your choice valkyrie weap .

Great suggestion. I'm still 2 weeks new into this server and would like to join in if there's F. Token sales going on in the Tokenshop. Since I'm not well equip yet so I'm unable to join most event. Having F. Token sales will be big for us newbies. Please GM or any Moderator do notify us if the sales is approved and when it is up for grab. Since Christmas is around the corner, I do suggest that time will be right to do it. from 24-26 December.

+1 to this also. On my thought if we got A Zeny to Token Trader. So if a newbie or non donater can do a hard farming to get zeny and later can exchange it to token at Token Zeny NPC. This can help a newbie or Non Donator to get token. This will eventually promote our server to a new player since they can obtain token without depend on demands. Demand i mean here is if they would go to farming item for ring or DA. They would depend on the buyer or other player to get token. IF there is no one player wanted to buy or such thing. They wont able to get token. IF there is Zeny > Token NPC they can obtain token without depend on someone else. They just do A hard Farming zeny and eventually exhange it at NPC. When the new player is grow its the same with market also. They will intend to buy EMP,IMP,DA,and more item. This will make the market grow as such demand. The currency i thought is about 1B zeny to 50-60 Token. IF the player want get zeny, they can trade it with a player around 60-70 toks. This currency is just suggesting tho.
