If not, Click here Rules that the voter must understand: *Voters must have at least a post count of 10 in order to vote. *Contestants are not allowed to vote for themselves, but are now allowed to vote in the SOTW. *Judges' signature grades will be doubled (e.g., if a judge gives 10, it would count as 20). *Non-judge points will count for full credit. *Each voter must fill out at least one rubric for the entry of their choice. *Each entry must have at least 2-3 GOOD sentences in addition to the rubric. * Signatures will be based on a point-basis. Voting Rubric: Rate each of the following categories from 1 to 5, with 5 being 'excellent' and 1 being 'ok/decent'... *Creativity - how creative the signature is. *Technical - how challenging the attempted idea. *Execution- how the idea is put together and how successful it is. *Aesthetic- how visually pleasing the signature is, regardless of how complex it may be. Fafnir Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 I'd like to vote for Poringly [7] Creativity - 4/5 - I really like how you used the sprites in a way of expressing the point. And then the platform is placed really well too. Good job. And fits the 'Can I really be the hero' text seeming that he have so MANY enemies to pass through. Technical - 3/5 - The idea is pretty nice. Sprites rock. Although the gateway's color doesn't match the other colors pretty well. Other than that, thumbs up. Execution - 3/5 - The scene is placed nicely. Although, the sprites confuse me abit. ;-; Especially those three thingies with blue stroke above Prinny. Putting on them shadows would really indicate on where they stand/float. Aesthetic - 5/5 - The signature pleasures my eyes alot! Especially how the sprites are detailed very much ♥ Total Points: 15 PS. I love Disgaea.
Appie Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 I'm voting for [6]sookyay Creativity: 5/5 I like how this person did not constrain their signature to a box. The two images are cleverly placed in a way that's eye catching and unique. The placement of text keeps the image looking simple and straightforward but still in a creative manner. Technical: 3/5 It's obvious that the image is simple in it's technique. There's nothing wrong with that, but more could be done to improve it. The image in the forefront is too closely matched in color to the image in the back. Making the image in the back slightly lighter would make the image in the front pop more and give a bit more contrast. Execution: 4/5 Nicely thought out design and image placement. The use of high textured image in the forefront matched with the softer image in the back gives the image a nice feel of depth. The text and cute little face are cleverly placed in a way that doesn't distract from the over-all signature but adds to it's design. Aesthetic: 5/5 It's so cute and eye catching! The simplicity of it all is what I think makes it the most eye-catching signature. It makes you want to know more about this cute game and/or play it. Total: 17

The colors used work well together and I like how the text is done, too! Over all, it's well organized and visually interesting. This entry stands out the most to me as a best reflection of the theme for this week and looks nice.

I never know they were such game until you made me Google-d it. It sparks my curiosity of the game, its eye catching and the colours in your signature blends in harmony. Tho there is not much complicated technique used in making this signature ( From what I seen ) , the signature stands out more than the rest.
