Good stuff enzo. Genesis this thread is not about putting Garm as donation anymore.. its about the elite quests in general. I got yet another point: This is how i did my elite quest; i baught all the crap.. i had 200 extra coupons and in the end i used over 130 of them. am i lazy? no im rich. and like every other rich person in fsRO we simply baught all/most of our items, while we let newbies do all the hard work. However it did not work, my main supplier was Ninjaaz, even he gave up.. i payed him alot too, but it was not worth it to him.. because he got tired of farming as I did, and as all my other suppliers did. So i baught the rest from someone who CLEARLY botted all of the items, i did not bother writing down the name, because i doubt a GM would have done anything. However if a GM wants to crack down on botters, then go in Merchant Mall, its not hard to spot a botter in there. Heres how to do it: go ahead and try the elite quest, in one hour you will realize that you are (i garentee) not even 5% done, and when you see people in merchant mall selling thousands of diffrent cards at 150K, you will realize that NO WAY IN HELL did that person do it all on his/her own.

I will say it AGAIN, the GMs DO have control of the economy, like you said the economy fluctuates... based on the quests the GMs put in, i am simply saying "Be more careful when doing so, you could cause the tables to turn" I am completely fine with "hard quests", its just that the GMs view of a hard quest is "gathering over 9000 items" I dont find that hard, i find that REALLY boring and a waste of time. Because gathering over 9000 items takes only one skill, patience... and i'd like to remind you that this server is a high rate, not many people have patience. Hard for me is something that requires skill to do, such as beating crazy strong MVPs like Ktullanux or Beelzebub. I am simply saying make the quest more challenging, a perfect example i think is Dragon Rider & Garm Hat, they require the player to farm (under 9000 items...) and kill MVPs! I still find parties of newbies fighting Edgga/ Osiris & Amon Ra, they all team up and have a good time MVPing. What i am getting at is that, this is NOT iRO, people come to private high rate servers for a few things "Fast Pased Action". and no i am not saying to make quests easy for everyone to do, so that we can get items quciker, i am saying give people what they came for, give us quests where we do more fun things, (think of sumoning Ktulanux or Thanatos, those are such fun MVPs)

"if the prices of the MvP cards skyrocket, it is not the Game Master's team fault, it's the players" No that IS the Game Master Teams fault, their the ones who created the quest, and by doing so made Phreeoni Cards & Garm Cards really valuable. 1: All i am saying is that be more careful when selecting items for quest, and if your sure that the elite quests were not put there to get more money, then switch the garm & phree cards for another item which drops at 10% AND is non-donatable. A quest may seem like nothing, but it will effect the game play & economy very very easily. Think of cookie hats, they effected game play & economy substantially! (i got nothing against cookie hats). 2: Make the quests challenging rather than boring, I know that the GMs want to make Elite Gear rare, and the best they could come up with was?? 3000 hydras.. 3000 of one card is alot, and you should know it took you a long time to do it, as it took me. As for the server needing money. Im sure they do, and so far the have managed just fine with the current donation system. I still stand behind my criticisms, and remember i made these criticisms to help the server, why else would i still be here after all the shit i gone through?

I second this motion. Garm cards are worth A LOT more than 25 coupons right now. By putting them in donation NPC it would make it easier to obtain, still not that easy, but at least easier than right now. I thought i should go ahead and say this: Elite Quests I think are complete bullshit, first of getting 3000 of one item is stupid, the only thing that will achieve is unstable economy and botters (which i can prove). Making one of the requirements be an MVP card makes those cards worth alot more, and once those cards are worth more than 25 coupons, people will start to donate for them, thus getting the server more income, its an ingenious plan :D. I suggest that the elite quests be modified; (just a suggestion) No more than 3504 total items and that must be divided into at least 7 diffrent items, ie. ( 7 diffrent non-mvp cards x 500 each = 3500) and then, some rare items are needed (such as garm or phree which we have now). Instead of MVP cards, how about MVP drops? Its been done before, think of Garm Hat quest(that thing Ktullanux drops..), or Dragon Rider (pipe/sphinx hat) Just a suggestion.....

The reason Final Fantasy got the castle was because my guild & Nihongo-Jin Clan wiped out the influence members defending, and it was my strategy.. I kept recalling my members into influences castle at inappropriate times, so they would get owned, i died to blades of Furys coma twice, i walked into emp room and berserked trying to take the emp on my own and died 3 times. I did all of that to give Influence the wrong impression, they assumed we are weak at that point, and sent most of their members to get the other castle, which is what i wanted. after killing me a few times, Blades of fury constanttly used edge assuming i would die again, however i used GTB and instructed everyone else to use GTB, therefore blades of fury was doing low dmg because one of his weapons is edge :D and the other hand is GTB lol. After seeing that i constantly went straight for the emp and not atking anyone on the way there, all of influence members moved back to the emp, perfect :D this allowed my guild and others to enter emp room and not get ganged at the stairs :D. In the end Tiffa got the last hit on the emp, and got the castle. Everytime i atked the castle, i took note of whos using what build, and told my guild who is using what, so we could counter it. Sparadox is using my Incan build.. xCross is not even close to Sparadox.. The only LKs who should be on anyones list are Irrelevant and me. we both have thana/incan weapons & donation equips we both can switch between anti-thana and anti-incan. 1800 Poporing 2700 Argos 600 Leaf Cat each card at 500K each, i take minimum 100 at a time. I can also pay in cupons, 200 cards = 1cupon 2 Prees @ 25 cupons each as i get more and more of the items, i will update.
