  1. I've been shooting with invisible bows and hacking mobs with bare hands for a while now and I'm wondering if this is really how it's supposed to be or is something wrong with my game client. I downloaded the All-in-one via torrent, and I've also tried both the Small Installer and 3rd Jobs. Do legendary weapons really NOT have sprites? Or is there something else I need to do to 'see' them?
  2. Thanks! That sure helped. I was stoked to see the new scarf - I thought it really was a SCARF. Then I saw the huge ribbon behind, and now I won't bother with it anymore. Why do most of the headgears have to look so gay?? >____<
  3. +1 This would be very useful (if there's a way to implement it)
  4. ^ What he said. True. Other MVPs drop better. So if the rationale behind this is for MVP purposes, it will open up a floodgate of requests to make all the other maps with MVPs have PK turned off as well - which I don't think is feasible. Also, farming is mostly an end-game activity. Why should the difficulty curve be altered to accommodate for newbies to be able to do an end-game activity effectively?
  5. Thanks a lot for the replies, and sorry I haven't been very clear. I'm aware of the other customization options and I know the benefits of donating. Heck, Genesis can tell you how much I've already plunked down to support the server. The intent of my question was to figure out if there's any way to make the Vote King set more flexible in terms of customization. There are plenty of cool headgear that work with the King Set but unfortunately, only the Valk Helm (thanks for letting me know they can be colored nate1002! I wasn't aware of that) works with the Vote Set. The problem isn't whether or not it's possible to get Expanded Valk Helms (I can buy plenty of them, I even asked if I can 'downgrade' them), but rather how to make the Vote Set more 'unique' and thus useful. I was just shocked at the incredulity of the interaction between voting and donating. It seems like if you go for one, the other becomes useless e.g., if you keep voting and get the Vote Set, there's no motivation to buy an Extended Valk (coz it won't work for the Vote Set) and vice-versa. nate1002's #4 is pretty valid - it's a great way for players to try things out before donating. But once you do start donating, voting (and the items you get with it) becomes useless pretty fast. Like I mentioned, I'm a donator. And to be honest, there's very little motivation for me to vote frequently. I still do it to promote the server though. No amount of dollars can keep the server running if people don't hear about and play it. But that's me. How about the rest? What I'm trying to say is that the voting and donation systems should synergize instead of cannibalize each other. Man, that question sure turned into a systems analysis didn't it? Maybe I should flesh out a suggestion. Anyway, thanks for the replies everyone! :D
  6. Thanks for the answers bro! :D By 'downgrading', I meant turning it into a 'vote' variant. I guess 'downgrade' wasn't a very good term, but I used it because 'vote' items are generally regarded as 'inferior' to 'tokenshop' items. I thought perhaps there's a way to 'sacrifice' a tokenshop item (expanded valk) so you're not stuck with a blue valk helm if you're using a Vote set. I guess the only options are (a) forget about voting if you want better personalization or (b) use the vote set but forget about buying expanded valks (and stay generic). Either way, they both impact supporting the server (by votes or purchases) negatively. And considering #2, it looks like you're given even lesser motivation to vote and/or purchase if you're using a Legendary Wolf Pup (which works only with the Knight set). Why are things set up this way? :th_e18:
  7. 1. Do Valkyrie Expansion headgears work with the 3-piece Vote armor set? If not, is there a way to 'downgrade' one (through a quest maybe) to make it work with the Vote set? (Only the blue valk helm is available through voting - and that makes getting the Vote armor set boring and not worthwhile IMO) 2. Is there a King set equivalent of the Knight set's Legendary Wolf Pup? (A slotted lower headgear with stats and additional bonus when worn with a Forsaken King - tokenshop and vote - set)
  8. EDIT: I just realized I should've posted my question in Help Desk (I thought that was just for technical stuff). Please ignore/delete this post and I'll create a new one there. Thanks
  9. As you see in both threads, it's already 2 years (posted 2013) since Genesis said he'll talk with Veracity. So I think OP has the right to re-suggest something that's been buried for so long. :th_e6: Anyway, +1 to OP's suggestion. Options never hurt. And like the other guys posted, there's a way around it - and if that's the case, it wouldn't hurt anyone to have this implemented. It pretty much achieves the same thing, only more convenient. Besides, we want people to experiment and have diversity and this thing promotes that.
  10. From: http://www.forsaken-ro.net/forum/page/wiki/_/customs/vote-items-r65 Gangster Scarf +15 perfect dodge, +15 critical rate 1 slot, equips on Lower 65 Vote Tokens The current "Vote Ganster Scarf" has different stats and seems to be a different item (it's Ganster, not Gangster). Can we have it back even as a Tokenshop item? I'm not sure why it was even removed. There are other better items, so I see no reason why it would hurt to bring it back. EDIT: Added emphasis on spelling difference

I also wonder about the same thing. I know some spells have aspd-based delays, and I know it's useful for spamming Stave Crasher. But what I wonder about is whether or not it's really necessary to get 195 aspd. Even with max cast delay reduction (Kiel, etc), max aspd seems to save you just a couple of milliseconds at most when casting spells. And while it allows you to spam Stave Crasher faster, it's not humanly possible to spam it 195 aspd fast. Or at least, that's how they seem like. Then there's also the matter of ping rates.. Is 195 aspd really necessary? Or to put it another way, are we even actually capable of utilizing it to its fullest? Or is it just something nice to have for good measure - like a panacea of sorts? (This is with regards to casting/spamming spells and not on stripping gear since we know that actually uses the full 195 aspd via auto-attack)
